How to Make a Difference Beyond the Race
Here's What People Are Saying about the inaugrial event....

Awesome race today! Good job and thanks so much for putting it on - Kara S.

I just wanted to say what a great time everyone had today.  It was top notch and you can tell all the hard work that was put into this triathlon - Kim J.

Thanks for the great event.  It was tons of fun. - Brian

GREAT race!!! See you next year same time same place - Bill B.

"Denise....great job yesterday!  Super turnout.  Very well done!" - Mike L.

I received nothing but positive feedback on the race yesterday....I just go off the phone with a participant that remarked how well organized the race was compared to venues that have been putting on tris for years.  Give yourself a giant pat on the back for a job well done.  We look forward to supporting the event next year.  - Matt R.

Thank you for a great race!  I would like to take this opportunity to share my tri2remember story:

I had a tire blow out on about mile 5.  I was ready to start the walk back to find someone to take me back to my car and try not to cry.

Jenny Brock, who I never had met in my life, stopped on this terrible hill and said if you have a tube we can change it.  I did not have a tube.  She started asking people who were passing by if they had a tube.  Someone finally said they did (I wish I had gotten her name).

For 30 to 40 minutes, Jenny worked on my tire.We could not get it pumped up and I FINALLY convinced Jenny to go on!

The final two racers came by with the van behind them.  The two nice gentlemen in the van stopped and so graciously got me on the road again.

I did not place, but I finished the race.  This race will be one I will never forget - next time maybe I can be the one who helps someone complete the race.

II saw her after the race and thanked her again.  She played it off as if it was nothing and said, "what would Jesus do".  I then realized Jenny was my angel for the day.

Thanks again for a wonderful race that was extremely organized and well run.  I know it took a lot of work for everyone, but it was terrific.  And by the way, the volunteers were all cheering me on even though I was one of the last ones to cross the finish line!
