Tri2Remember Tri Club is an organized club dedicated to the educational pursuit of triathlon, duathlon, general physical fitness and the representation of multi-sport within the community - doing such in a friendly, non-intimidating team environment.
Why We Chose the Name
My father was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2005. I wanted to create a venue that would allow others to pursue better health through triathlons and at the same time raise funds for a cure to this terrible disease.
Alzheimer's is a disease that destroys brain cells and causes problems with thinking, language and behavior. It is progressive and the 6th-leading cause of death in the United States. There is no known cure but promising treatments are on the horizon.
